Queens Park F.C.

Queens Park are the oldest club in Scottish football, formed in 1867. They currently play at Hampden Park, Glasgow, which is also the home to the Scottish National Team.

They are also the only amateur team to play in the professional scottish football league, although they did not officially enter until 1900, as they did not want to turn into a professional team.

The club has won the Scottish cup on 10 occasions, only bettered by the 2 bigger Glasgow Clubs,, and have also been runners up in the English FA cup on two occasions. They are the only scottish club to achieve this.


Famous Players
These include Alec Ferguson, current manager of Manchester United, Ronnie Simpson, later a Goalkeeper for Glasgow Celtic, Andy Roxburgh, ex Scotland Manager, Ian McCall current manager of Partick Thistle.

The Clubs nickname is 'The Spiders'
